15% Off Leak-Proof Food Storage Containers!

What is better than Thanksgiving leftovers? Store your leftovers safely with our BPA-free, non-toxic reusable stainless steel food-storage containers—ON SALE through November!

Follow these important guidelines to make sure your food is stored safely:

  • Pack and store food in the refrigerator or freezer within two hours of cooking to reduce the risk of contamination from sitting at room temperature.
  • Store leftovers in airtight, leak-proof containers.
  • Store leftovers in shallow containers (transfer from a large pot of soup, for example) to allow them to cool quickly and evenly, inhibiting bacteria growth.
  • Eat leftovers within four days (or freeze leftovers that won’t be eaten within four days).
Recipe: Oven-Roasted Fall Vegetable

Make for the holidays, or as part of a healthy meal for families affected by Hurricane Sandy. This combination of roasted root vegetables includes yellow onions, potatoes, turnips, carrots, parsnips, butternut squash, garlic and sweet potatoes—and it’s delicious. See recipe here from Sunset Magazine.
